Candidate scoring
Explains the different scoring types in cezanne recruitment which can be used to compare candidates.
Cezanne recruitment includes several scoring methods to help compare candidates. These scores are designed to highlight stronger candidates based on factors such as their CV, responses to screening questions, and interview performance.
Scores are accessible by hovering the mouse over the scoring icon from your list of candidates, when clicking into an application detail page, when leaving an interview score, and for hiring managers when leaving reviews.
AI CV Score
AI CV Scoring is available to Recruitment Plus customers. Using AI, Cezanne Recruitment compares a candidate's CV against the job description and generates a numerical score indicating how closely their skills and experience match the role requirements.

To provide additional context, a summary is displayed when you hover over a candidate on the job page or over the scoring panel within a candidate profile. To see a more detailed explanation, open the CV Score tab (see example above), which contains a rationale explaining how the score was determined.
This information is also available to hiring managers using the Hiring Manager Review feature by hovering over the scoring icon.
If you do not wish to use CV Scoring, Administrators can disable the feature using the setting shown below in Settings>Company settings. Disabling the feature will hide all CV Score information and prevent new CVs from being scored.

Smart Question Score
The Smart Question Score provides a score out of 100, giving an at-a-glance view of how well a candidate answered your Smart Questions.
The score is calculated using the weightings assigned to your questions and answer options. A higher score indicates that the candidate's responses align more closely with the criteria you have defined.

Average Interview Score
The Average Interview Score provides a score out of 100 based on interview feedback collected through interview scorecards.
The score represents the average of all interview scores submitted for a candidate against a specific job. It is calculated using the weightings assigned to the interview questions and answers. A higher score indicates stronger performance against the criteria set for the role.

Total Score
The Total Score is an average of the three scoring methods described above:
- CV Score
- Smart Question Score
- Average Interview Score
