How do I resolve error 12043?

Error 12043 typically occurs when attempting to validate a request (e.g., absence, timesheet, etc.) without having the necessary permissions to do so.
To resolve this:

Check whether the employee has an appropriate security role by going to "Administration" > "Users".

To approve requests, the employee must have at least a "Line Manager" role assigned.
