How to add items to a claim on Cezanne Expenses
Learn how to add expense items to an existing claim.
Steps to follow
- Go to Expenses then My Claims
- Click on the claim you want to add items to
- Click +Add item to the claim

- Select a spend category from the drop down list
- Complete the item details
- Add a description
- Click Save
📝 Note
A warning message will appear if the amount exceeds the policy limit.
Policy limits can be set as either hard limits (where claims cannot exceed the set amount) or soft limits (where claims can exceed the amount but may trigger a warning). Always refer to your company’s expense policy for how these are applied.

These fields will change depending on the category you've chosen.
Depending on your setup, you may be able to split a single expense across multiple items or add attendees (for example, when one person pays for a group). Availability of these options vary by configuration.
