How Do I Resolve Error 12475?

You may encounter the following error when visualizing the annual calendar: An unexpected error occurred while invoking the component 'CALENDAREVENTS' (rule 'GETCALENDAREVENTSRULE'). For further information, please contact your administrator

This error typically occurs in scenarios such as:

  • Open the annual calendar



🔍 Why This Happens
The error message usually appears when the system is trying to load and display a large volume of data on the calendar. This is most commonly caused by filters that include a high number of employees (e.g. filters set to display all employees in the organisation).

 

How to Resolve It

We highly recommend adjusting calendar filters to display smaller, more specific groups—such as by organisational units—instead of using a general "All" filter. This reduces the load on the system and improves performance.

 

Here’s how you can check and update these filters:

 

In User Records:

You can switch off or adjust filters directly in individual user records.

  • Go to Administration > Users

  • Select the user and review their User Calendar Filters

 

In "Employee Groups":

Some calendar filters are based on specific Employee Groups. You can review and refine which employees are included:

  • Go to Administration > Employee Groups

  • Amend or create groups as needed, depending on the level of detail required
