Managing Pending Users in Cezanne Expenses

Learn how to manage pending users and resolve missing profile information that may prevent employees from appearing in Cezanne Expenses. This article explains why users become pending and what information is required for a successful sync.

The pending users area helps administrators identify employees whose profiles could not fully sync into Cezanne Expenses. This usually happens when required information is missing or incomplete in the employee’s profile. Once the missing details are updated, the user can successfully sync, appear in the users area and log into Cezanne Expenses.

How to move a pending user

  1. Go to your profile on the top right hand of your screen
  2. Select Switch Account then Parent Admin
  3. Select Administration on the left hand panel
  4. Select Pending User
  5. Enter the missing information next to the user

Common reasons why a user may become pending

  • They haven't been assigned to a division.
  • Their cost centre doesn't exist (most likely because it's new).
  • Their approver hasn't got an account in the expense system.
