October 2026 Release Notes

This release introduces enhancements across Onboarding, Guidebooks, Payroll and Insights, with new functionality designed to streamline processes and provide greater flexibility.

📝 Note

This release is scheduled to go live on 31 October 2026.

HR Enhancements  

Onboarding: Original Hire Date 

For customers with the onboarding module, the original hire date will now automatically populate, reducing the need to enter this information manually. If you are Cezanne Recruitment client, it will also pull through from here. 

 

Guidebooks: National Contract analysis

New National Contract data points have been added, alongside two new out-of-the-box analyses:

  • National Contract Distribution Overview
  • National Contract Salary Range Overview

Access is turned off by default and can be enabled for specific roles under Security Role Permissions > Insights.

We recommend enabling access for security roles that also have Core HR and Pay permissions so they can view the analyses appropriately.

Payroll Enhancements

New bank file and pension export options 

New bank file and pension export options have been added, including support for:

  • NEST
  • NHS
  • Legal & General

 

Download P45s from the Pay Run Summary

Payroll administrators can now download P45s directly from the Pay Run Summary screen, making them easier to access as part of the payroll process.

 Duplicate company payroll configurations

You can now duplicate company payroll configurations, making it quicker to set up additional company payrolls.

When a company payroll is duplicated, the following configuration will be copied across:

  • Settings on the Details tab
  • Payees
  • Paycodes
  • Nominal codes
  • Missing data configuration
  • Company paycode mappings

This reduces the amount of configuration that needs to be recreated manually when setting up another company payroll.

Insights enhancements

New ways to explore and compare your data

Insights now includes several enhancements designed to give you more flexibility in how you work with and explore your data.

A new configurable homepage lets you tailor your Insights experience, while the new Captures screen provides another way to interact with your data. You can also use the new Compare feature to view records side by side, making it easier to identify differences and compare information.

New Insights languages

Insights is now available in two additional languages: Italian and Spanish. 

Cezanne Learning 

Cezanne Learning has now launched, bringing learning, development and engagement into the Cezanne experience. It provides the tools to deliver courses, track compliance and CPD, and monitor learning progress, helping HR, L&D teams and line managers support employee development more effectively.
