What caused error 20604 (Link Expired)?

This article will explain what caused error 20604: "The link has either expired or has already been used. Alternatively, the task has been completed by someone else, or there was an error"

This issue typically occurs when an absence is approved through an email scanner or antivirus program. Sometimes, virus protection programs or email scanners might inadvertently "click" the approval link in the email, causing the absence to be approved prematurely. To prevent this, we would recommend checking with your IT team and considering whitelisting the domains cezannehr.com and w3.cezanneondemand.com.

This can also occur if the approver is clicking "Approve Now" and then clicking "Open Request". When this occurs, the absence is already approved so the request can no longer be opened.

Clicking 'Approve Now' will automatically approve the absence request without having to open up the browser. If the approver were to then click 'Approve Now' again or 'Open Request' they will be sent the error message as the running process for the absence has already been approved, therefore the process is now closed.
