Recruitment - April/May 2026 Release Notes

This article summarises the latest product releases for Cezanne Recruitment during April and May 2026. The page will be updated as additional releases become available.

Enhancements:

Blind scoring - CV anonymisation for hiring manager review

  • Now released for all Recruitment customers following an extensive beta period. 

  • Blind Scoring is an optional feature designed to reduce bias during CV reviews. When sending candidates for hiring manager review, you can toggle an option to anonymise the Candidate CV. Using AI, we remove personally identifiable information (PII) from the CV, enabling hiring managers to evaluate profiles without exposure to sensitive details.

     

  • Managers can then give a thumbs up or down and add comments, purely based on the candidate's skills and experience. Additionally, each candidate is assigned an anonymized name, which appears throughout the review process and is visible to recruitment users within the Cezanne Recruitment app.

Candidate Name search added to Jobs

  • Quickly find a known candidate by searching with their name from the Job page: 

Job Requisitions:

  • Improved display of approval information within stages. Approver details now include name and email address in the format “Approved by [Name] ([email])”, along with approval date/time where available.

  • Enhanced handling of multiple approvers. When more than one approver completes a form in a stage, each submission is now displayed in its own dedicated section for better clarity and traceability.

  • UI upgrades: refined texts(sizes and placements), cleaner layout behavior, label updates for consistency and enhanced file upload/download sections.

Display of smart question answers improved

  • Layout improvements to make viewing smart question responses much easier, particularly with long text answers.
  • Previously answers were displayed in underlined italics without line returns, making it very difficult to scan.

Translations

  • New User language added "German":
    • The application now has around 85% translation coverage, work is in progress to fill the remaining gaps. 
    • We will shortly be adding further languages, including French, German, Italian and others. 
  • Job listing settings pages, job listing pages and application page now support translations
    • Application page and job listings page display according to the User's browser language.
  • Translations support added for:
    • Interview booking tool, SMS reminder messages, candidate interview scheduling page, hiring manager review. 

CV Scoring AI enhancements

  • Updated AI model used for CV scoring and blind scoring to deliver more accurate results and stronger anonymization.

Job Listings pages V2 enhancements:

  • About us section now respects line returns and includes text alignment improvements.
  • Application page now includes:
    • Closing date (if present)
    • Salary type, salary and salary details
    • Sectors and subsectors:

Fixes:

  • In some cases, recurring meetings were not showing in the interview scheduler. - For this fix to apply, disconnect and reconnect your calendar under Settings>User Settings. 
  • When moving candidates to another job, the  job ID search field was searching on the wrong field.
    • This was searching for the ID shown in the URL, not the ID displayed when you open a job.
  • In some cases documents were not exporting to One Touch HRIS.
  • Smart question responses were not being displayed with correct formating from Talent.com job board.
  • Isolated issues with Contract documents not uploading on applicant details page. 
  • In some cases, automatic "application received" email template was not sending for internal only jobs. 
  • In some cases, requisition documents were not accessible after approval. 
  • In rare cases, Jobs could close up to 24 hours before the specified close date. 
  • Source filter not working as expected in CV database search.
  • Updated job requisition search to return more accurate results.
  • In rare cases, Jobs could be duplicated when being sent to certain job boards.  
  • In some cases, SMS Interview reminder messages were not being sent. 
  • Some CV database filters using AND condition were failing to produce any results. 
  • Various CV database filter count issues.
  • Candidate name search and filters weren't visible after searching, opening an application and then clicking back to the job. 
  • Lists are no longer automatically applied as a filter after adding candidates to a list.
