Attachments

Within Cezanne HR a number of the People screens enable attachments to be uploaded against different records. For example, you may want to attach a copy of a passport to one of an employee's Legal Identifier records.

Note:

  • Attachments can be any file type but cannot be bigger than 50MB.

1. Screens with Attachments

Attachment functionality is available for the following People screens:

2. Uploading an Attachment

Navigate to People in the sidebar

  • Search for or Select the employee you want to attach a file to.

  • Locate a screen from the above list.

  • Select the relevant record and click the Attach Files button.

  • If you would like to upload multiple files, click the Choose File button.
  • When you have located all of the files that you want to upload as attachments, click Upload.
  • To view the file that you have uploaded, click the Title. You can also rename and delete the file.
  • When you exit the Upload pop-up, the Attach Files button will be renamed Attachments and have a number count in the corner.

Note:

  • Attachments relating to Absences look different to the above screenshots. Use the documents tab within the Absence Event pop-up to upload files to screens relating to absences.
  • Click Choose File.
  • Find and select the file.

3. View all Attachments for a Person by Category

  • Navigate to: People >> Search for a Person >> Additional Information >> Documents.
  • Select the Attachments drop-down and choose which Category to view all documents for.

4. Attachment Permissions

  • Attachment Permissions can be set up for different security roles. To select permissions, navigate to: Administration >> Security & Setup >> Security Settings >> Document Categories >> Attachment Categories Tab.
  • Choose a category and use the check boxes to configure the level of permission that each security role will have.
