How Do I Add Hyperlinks?

When creating hyperlinks to sections such as Bank Details, Contact Details, Communication, etc., always ensure that the links are generated using a Self Service user account.

For example, if you want to add a hyperlink to a Checklist Task that directs employees to update their Communication details, follow these steps:

  1. Log in as a Self Service user – This ensures the URL reflects the view and access permissions available to employees.
  2. Navigate to the relevant section – Go to:
    Myself > Personal & Work Details > Communication (or the equivalent path in your system).
  3. Copy the URL from the browser’s address bar – This will be the employee-accessible link.
  4. Paste the link into the Checklist Task configuration – Add it to the task description or hyperlink field.
  5. Test the hyperlink – Use a Self Service login to verify that the link directs to the correct page and that access is permitted.

 

Form Hub Hyperlinks:

Unfortunately it is not possible to create a hyperlink that directs employees to a specific form. However, you can create a hyperlink that takes employees to their Form Hub screen, where they can access their available forms.
