Onboarding Setup Process Flow

In order to enable new employees to be assigned a checklist and portal as part of a process, you must first activate a process flow. The Onboarding Setup Process Flow can be set up to allow a user group to complete the assignment of a checklist and portal for new employees within your organisation.

This article will show how to activate the Onboarding Setup process flow and contains the following sections:

1. Find and Select the Process

Navigate to: Administration >> Processes >> Activate Process Flows >> Employee Administration tab.

  • Select Onboarding Setup from the list.
  • Click Next.

2. Process Setup

  • (Optional) Enter a Process Name and Process Description.

3. Set Onboarding Setup User for this Process

  • Select the Onboarding Setup User from the user groups. This user will assign a checklist and portal to the new starter.
The User adding the New Starter The user who clicked Add New Hire and entered basic information about the new employee. The process will only open for them when they click Start Process and no e-mail will be sent.
Primary Supervisor Will send the task to the employee's primary supervisor.
Primary Org Unit Manager Will send the task to the manager of the employee's primary Org Unit.
Specific User Will send the task to any user that you choose. Enter the user's name or click to search for the user.
  • Tick to Send E-mail to Onboarding Setup User when they have an onboarding task to complete.
  • Click Next.

4. Set up Permissions

  • It is not recommended to change any of the default settings on this screen, so just click Go to activate the process.
  • The process will now be set up and available to use when adding a new starter.
