Award on Accrual Period

The Award on Accrual Period option determines whether an employee's entitlement for each sub-accrual is awarded on the Start Date or End Date of the Sub-Accrual.

This article explains how this option works and contains the following sections:

  1. Award on Accrual Period = Start Date
  2. Award on Accrual Period = End Date

Note:

  • This option is only available if the Accrual Period of the Absence Plan Type is set to Monthly or Semi-Monthly.

1. Award on Accrual Period = Start Date

When Award on Accrual Period is set to 'Start Date', the employee's sub-accrual entitlement is awarded on the Start Date of each sub-accrual period:
