Benefits

Each employee can have a series of benefits linked to themselves or members of their family (e.g. Child Vouchers, Life insurance). The Benefits (People >> Compensation >> Benefits) screen enables you to assign Benefits and to maintain details related to Contributions and Beneficiaries. Both current and historical data are shown in this screen - so you can see the evolution of the employee's benefits over time.

1. Benefit Details

  • Use this tab to add, edit or delete all benefits related to the employee.

  • Each benefit has a Scheme Join Date and a Scheme Leave Date that identifies the period of time for which the employee is enrolled on the benefits plan.

  • Each benefit also has a related Benefit Type and Scheme Name, that help you identify the name and type of the benefit (e.g. Pension, Life Insurance).

  • It's possible to manage the contribution amounts through the Contributions tab of the Person Benefits screen.

  • Here it is possible to establish the Employer Contribution and the Employee Contribution, as well as defining the Pay Period: this value will be used when calculating the Annual contribution values.

  • Using the Beneficiaries tab of the Benefits screen, it's possible to assign some relatives as beneficiaries of the benefit plans of the employee.

  • Benefits can also be shared by several people, by indicating the Benefit Share Amount and the Benefit Share%.
