Onboarding Module

Welcome to the Onboarding Module for Cezanne HR. This module enables you to:

  • Manage the onboarding process all in one place.
  • Engage new starters.
  • Reduce administration overheads by managing tasks and deadlines within the system.

This guide introduces the key components of Onboarding in Cezanne. However, when configuring the module, you may need to refer to other articles in the Knowledge Base.

What is Onboarding in Cezanne?

The Onboarding Module in Cezanne enables you to set up customised welcome portals for new employees and create checklists to send tasks to different users (including the new employee) to help manage the administration of a new starter in your organisation.

Checklists

Checklists can be set up to generate tasks that different users need to complete when a new employee starts in your organisation.

Key Benefits

  • No need to send e-mails about tasks and manually chase up deadlines.
  • Easy to monitor progress of all tasks related to a new starter.
  • Able to keep track of draft, running or completed tasks using the Checklist Task search.
  • Save time by managing a library of checklist templates for different positions and locations.
  • Can be used outside of onboarding for practically anything!

Onboarding Portals

An onboarding portal is the screen that employees will see when they log into Cezanne for the first time.

Key Benefits

  • Displays key information that new employees need for their first day.
  • Embed videos and images to showcase your company culture.
  • Introduce new employees to their colleagues using the Team Members section and optional bios.
  • Can be used for new employees and employees returning from long term leave (e.g. Maternity Leave).
  • Keep track of users with active Onboarding Portals.

1. Checklist Templates

Create a library of Checklist Templates covering each location / position.

Administration >> Onboarding >> Checklist Templates >> Add New Checklist Template:

2. Portal Templates

Add a Portal Template for each location / position.

Administration >> Onboarding >> Portal Templates >> Add New Portal Template:

3. Onboarding Setup Process

Activate the Onboarding Setup process flow to assign a Checklist and Onboarding Portal as part of process of adding a new employee.

Administration >> Processes >> Activate a Process Flow.

4. Checklists

Assign a Checklist and start it from either the Onboarding Setup process or the Checklists screen.

5. Assign Portals to Users

Assign an Onboarding Portal to a user from either the Onboarding Setup process or the User Onboarding Portal screen.
